Overview

These Terms of Use govern GSA Auction Finder. By using the app, you agree to these terms. GSA Auction Finder is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by GSA or the United States Government. Support: restartapplication@gmail.com.

1. Purpose and official transactions

The app helps you discover federal auctions and purchase listings, save items and notes, compare listings, and set reminders or alerts. It does not place bids, accept payments for property, sell property, guarantee purchases, arrange inspections, provide shipping, or coordinate pickup. Bid, Buy, and similar actions open the official listing; they do not complete a transaction inside this app.

You are responsible for verifying the official listing, sale method, eligibility, condition, reserve, deposits, taxes or fees, deadlines, payment requirements, inspection arrangements, and removal obligations before acting. Official sale terms and the relevant agency's requirements govern any transaction.

2. Data, photos, and availability

GSA API and website information, images, documents, and bidding services may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, changed, or removed. Some supplemental website services are undocumented and may stop working without notice. Cached or offline information may be stale, and a listing's appearance in the app does not guarantee it is still available.

Displayed prices, bidder counts, bid history, countdowns, status, and refresh indicators are informational. A refresh indicator does not promise continuous real-time data. Auction deadlines may be extended or changed. Local-time displays depend on source data and device time-zone settings; the official listing remains authoritative.

Agency descriptions, categories, condition summaries, filter presets, and comparison tables are conveniences, not warranties. Missing or normalized specification fields can make comparisons incomplete. No listing is represented as a guaranteed bargain, investment, or fit for a particular purpose.

3. Maps, reminders, and external actions

ZIP distances and map pins are estimates, not confirmed property coordinates, routes, inspection access, or pickup arrangements. Verify addresses and arrangements with the listing contact.

Calendar reminders are copies you choose to save. They do not automatically update when a listing changes, and remain in your calendar after removing a saved listing or uninstalling the app. You are responsible for editing or deleting them.

Links, documents, sharing, phone calls, email, maps, reviews, and advertisements can open third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply. We do not endorse an advertiser or guarantee third-party content or availability.

4. Alerts and saved content

The free plan includes one active saved-search alert. Pro supports up to ten active saved-search alerts, plus available saved-listing change and ending alerts. Alerts, update history, and background refreshes are best effort. Network access, feed availability, device scheduling, battery settings, and notification permission can delay or prevent delivery. They may miss changes or arrive after a deadline; monitor the official listing yourself.

Guest-mode saved data and personal notes are stored on your device. If you sign in, supported saved listings and notes, saved searches and filters, alerts, saved ZIP locations and selected preferences synchronize through your Firebase account when connected. Synchronization is not guaranteed to be immediate, conflict-free, continuously available, or a substitute for your own records. Device-only data and operating-system backups may behave differently across devices.

5. Free features and Pro

Pro provides additional alerts and removes advertisements. Browsing, filters, sorting, saved listings and searches, locations, comparisons, calendar reminders, and one active search alert remain free. Saved listings, searches, and locations have no plan-based record limit. Enabling additional search alerts requires an eligible Pro entitlement.

When Pro expires, the oldest enabled search alert continues under the free allowance; additional alerts pause and ads may return. The app does not intentionally delete your saved records. You can pause an active alert to use another. Subscription status may require store verification. Pending purchases do not activate Pro until confirmed, and offline entitlement access may be limited.

6. Pro purchases, billing, cancellation, and restoration

Monthly and annual subscriptions are purchased through Apple or Google. The store-provided price, billing period, and any offer terms shown at purchase apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store under its rules. The app does not promise a trial unless one is explicitly offered at checkout.

Lifetime Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase of Pro access without subscription renewal. It does not include a free trial or cancel an existing monthly or annual subscription; manage that subscription separately to stop recurring charges. A refunded or revoked purchase no longer grants access. Lifetime refers to the Pro license, not a guarantee that the app, government data sources, or third-party services will operate forever or that future separate products are included.

Manage or cancel your subscription in the account used to purchase it. Deleting the app or local data does not cancel billing. Access normally continues through the paid period after cancellation, subject to store rules. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by the applicable store and applicable law; these terms do not remove statutory refund or consumer rights.

Restore Purchases checks the same platform store account for eligible subscriptions and Lifetime Pro. App sign-in is not required and does not transfer purchases between Apple and Google platforms. We do not collect your full payment-card information.

7. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Use the app lawfully and respect the rules of GSA, the stores, and other providers. Do not seek unauthorized access, evade service limits, interfere with the app or its providers, misuse personal information in listings, or misrepresent this app as an official government service.

Optional Google or Apple sign-in creates a Firebase account; guest use remains available. Protect your provider account and do not access another person's account without authorization. Signing out removes the account-linked library from that device without deleting its cloud copy. Deleting the account deletes the synchronized library and Firebase account, but neither action cancels a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Account deletion is available in Settings and through the support contact described in the Privacy Policy.

The app's original design, code, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Agency names, seals, listing materials, and third-party assets remain subject to their owners' rights or applicable public-domain rules. Their display does not imply endorsement or grant rights beyond those permitted by law.

The Pro introduction animation, “Businessman flies up with rocket” by Abdul Latif, is provided through LottieFiles under the Lottie Simple License (FL 9.13.21). That license, rather than restrictions on the app's original content, governs the animation and its derivatives. A copy of the license is bundled with the animation.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is and as available, without a warranty of completeness, accuracy, uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or auction outcome. We do not guarantee condition, authenticity, value, resale proceeds, shipping, pickup, or a successful bid or purchase.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or losses caused by stale information, missed notifications, third-party outages, or reliance on estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes and contact

We may improve, change, or discontinue features and revise these terms, subject to applicable store rules, existing subscription obligations, and law. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the app and manage any active subscription through your store account.
