ISS Tracker

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 28, 2025

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use ISS Tracker.

ISS Tracker lets users track the International Space Station, view upcoming visible passes and sky paths, follow related space information, and enable alerts for viewing opportunities.

Information We Do Not Require

ISS Tracker does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.

Location Data

With your explicit permission, the App may access your device's location data, including latitude and longitude.

This information is used to calculate the position of the International Space Station relative to you, predict fly-over times for your location, show sky path and map features, and configure ISS pass alerts. Location data is processed for app functionality and is not stored on our servers.

If you enable automatic pass alerts, alert location details may be saved locally on your device so scheduled alert features can continue to work after setup.

Usage Data and Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect Usage Data, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device type, operating system, approximate location, and information about your interaction with ads.

We do not have access to or control over all data collected by Google AdMob. Review Google's Privacy Policy for more information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Depending on your region, the App may show privacy choices or consent messages through Google User Messaging Platform before requesting ads.

Firebase Analytics

The App may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, improve features, and measure performance. Analytics data may include device information, app interactions, and usage events collected by Firebase.
