These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the USAJobs mobile application ("App", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Purpose of the App

The App is designed to help users browse federal job listings, save jobs, save search filters, create job alerts, receive reminders, and access official job application pages.

The App is an independent application. It is not an official government application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USAJOBS, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, or any federal agency.

Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and platform rules. You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its normal operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law, or use the App in a way that could damage the Service or other users.

Job Information and Official Applications

Job listings, salaries, requirements, deadlines, agency information, locations, and other employment-related details are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any listing or detail is complete, current, accurate, or still available.

You are responsible for verifying all job information, deadlines, and eligibility requirements through the official USAJOBS service before relying on that information or submitting an application. Official USAJOBS information is available at https://www.usajobs.gov/.

Alerts, Notifications, and Saved Content

The App may let you save jobs, save searches, create job alerts, view jobs that triggered alert notifications, and receive saved job reminders. Alerts and notifications are provided as a convenience only. We do not guarantee that alerts will be sent on time, delivered successfully, or include every relevant opening.

You are responsible for monitoring official sources for application deadlines and updates.

Accounts and Authentication

Certain personalization and sync features may rely on Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. If you choose to sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your Google account.

Third-Party Services and Advertising

The App relies on third-party services, including USAJOBS data services, Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Firebase services, Google Maps, Google AdMob, and related consent tools.

If advertising is enabled in the version of the App you use, ads may be served by Google AdMob or its partners. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, ad content, or privacy practices, and your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and policies.

Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Government job data, agency names, trademarks, and related materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or accuracy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, opportunities, or employment prospects arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Changes and Contact

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown above. By continuing to use the App after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
