Account deletion

Delete your account in the App

1. Open NYC Government Job Tracker and go to Settings.
2. Open the account section and choose Delete Account.
3. Confirm the request and complete sign-in verification if prompted.

This removes your Firebase Authentication account and synced App data, including synced saved jobs, saved searches, job alerts, alert preferences, reminders, and related App settings. Local App data is also cleared as part of the in-app flow.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the App, send a request from the email address associated with your account. Include the App name and state that you want the account and associated synced App data deleted. We may need to verify that you control the account before completing the request.

What may remain

Deleting your App account does not erase purchase records maintained by Google Play or Apple, create a refund, or remove analytics, advertising, diagnostic, or security records that are retained under third-party provider policies or applicable legal and operational requirements. Data that is no longer linked to your account may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form.
